TV5 Guesting

TV5 Guesting: That Time I Cooked On National Television [Throwback Feature #1]

THROWBACK THURSDAY!

This was circa 2009! My online moniker then was Sexy Nomad and I got invited by TV 5 to cook on air at their late-night TV show “How Bout Your Place Tonight?” So many fun memories here! I remember taping this after the segment with Ryan Agoncillo while his wife Juday was just watching the taping of his hubby with me.

Good thing I was able to keep a copy by recording the TV show when it aired. Today, I just suddenly thought of putting it up here and on my Youtube Channel for posterity’s sake. After all,  as the saying goes, you can never reach your life’s destination if you don’t know how to look back at where you came from. And this is one way of taking a look back at who I was before. Maybe, I’ll slowly upload to my Youtube channel those old videos I have of my TV stints before.

Being candid with Tuz

Work-At-Home Mom to a Hyperactive 4 Year Old Son [Challenges of a Day Old Single Mom!]

I took this video the day after I was almost done editing the Real Talk video I did last time. And all I can say is, I salute all single parents out there, especially those who raise their kids with no help whatsoever from helpers and relatives. It is quite rare that I get to be alone with Tuz since Mahal and I are together for the most part of our relationship. But on those days that he is not with us, I can really feel the stress that comes from being a single mom even if we only have one kid!

Tuz is 4 years old now and is so hyperactive (as you will see on the video later) and this is just 1/10 of how he truly is when there’s no camera around taking a peek at our home life.

It started out as a happy video with Tuz being his normal makulit self, then I got irritated, then angry, Tuz cried a bit, then we were friends again with him showing his genius side (naks!)… Then it starts all over again… 24/7! Lol!

Without further ado, here’s what happened…

Musiga Vlog Review

MUSIGA Featured On Jeanmay and Julianne’s Vlog!

Mahal and I just saw the very entertaining and funny vlog of two of our customers where MUSIGA (Mushroom Sili Garlic paste), one of our Tuscany Highlands products, was featured on their Mukbang Youtube video. The beautiful, talented, and funny vloggers are Jeanmay and Julianne. They’re the two lovely daughters of Cherry Mae Roa, my former high school batchmate from Lourdes College High School here in Cagayan de Oro City, who recently bought 2 variants of our MUSIGA — mild spicy and sweet & spicy!

In their mukbang video, the two pretty ladies ate different kinds of food. They had Kimchi Rice, Kimbap, Kimchi, Cheese & Scrambled Eggs, Pancit Canton, Soju, and our MUSIGA. Out of all the food they had, we’re super glad they liked our Musiga too! According to them, it added the much-needed flavor to what they were eating. We’re so happy! Muuaaahhhh!!! (^_^)

I was really delighted when Cherry told me last week that her daughters are going to feature our MUSIGA product on their Youtube Channel! And now it’s here! Thank you so much my dears!!! Watch their vlog, like, and subscribe —>  Jeanmay and Julianne

0:00 / 3:33 How to Upload to Instagram Using Your Laptop

How to Upload to Instagram Using Your Laptop

I just recently learned about this trick and I’m just excited to share it with you especially to moms like me who only have one phone and that phone is constantly being used by the child for watching Youtube educational videos and interactive games (don’t bash me! Lol!)

It was just so freeing when I first learned about this, and how coincidental it is that it’s Independence Day today. Coz before, I used to step out of my office, go to my son, “beg” him to let me use “his” phone just so I can update my Instagram account! (I really need to buy a new phone or have the busted one repaired — waahhhh!). Anyway, it’s just so freeing to learn about this. I can hop from one tab to the next and in an instant, I’ve already updated my Instagram on my laptop without having to get my phone. I know there are apps you can use like Planoly for example or Hootsuite but I just find this so much easier for uploading on a whim, right here, right now, when you’re already in front of your computer.

BUT BEFORE THAT:

Philippine Homeschooling Hack

Philippine Homeschooling Hack In This Time of The Pandemic

To dear parents, are you enrolling your kids in school this year? Or are you homeschooling them? Homeschooling in the Philippines is not yet a common thing but because of this pandemic, it seems to be the only right choice to do to protect the health of our children. If company employees are adapting a work-from-home situation, then why not homeschool as well?

And so, I’m just so excited to share this video intended for parents living in the Philippines who are worried about their kids either missing a year of schooling due to the pandemic or efforting to homeschool their kids who used to be enrolled in either public or private schools, more so those who have lost their budget for private school tuition fees. There’s a hack that you can do that won’t cost you a lot of money, it can actually even be free! Continue reading

Real Talk

REAL TALK: Tiny Pad Tour And Business Update In This Time Of Pandemic

THIS IS AS REAL AS I CAN GET! This was an unplanned rant and rave video. I was testing a camera app I downloaded to my 7-year old Samsung Note 3 which I also had repaired and this was the unexpected result of that test. Pardon all my fats, pls! Lol! 😆😆😆

I also realized how verbose I can be! I never knew myself to be this talkative! I can go on months without talking to someone (yep, introvert here) but once I start talking with no one trying to stop me, I can go on, and on, and on.. hahaha! THIS IS ME IN THE MIDST OF THIS PANDEMIC! How about you??? How are you???

Anyway, here are the links of the topics mentioned in my monologue.
