How I Reached My Financial Milestone Without Sacrificing Health

I Hit My Big Financial Goal—5 Months Ahead of Schedule!

When this year started, I wrote down a quiet, deeply personal goal.

It wasn’t about going viral or building an empire. It wasn’t even something I shared with a lot of people.

It was simply this:
To reach a financial milestone I had never hit before.
By December 31, 2025.

At the time, it felt impossible. Insurmountable.
But as of August 2, I’ve done it—five months early.
And I’m still in awe.

I’m 47. And for the first time…

So much money has flowed through my hands over the years.
From career wins to hard resets, to years of giving, spending, sacrificing, and sometimes… losing myself in the process.

But this—this is the first time I’ve reached this financial milestone.
The first time I truly saw what my discipline, alignment, and quiet resilience can do.

I still can’t believe it.
I did it.
I really did it.

And I’m proud. Not boastful. Not showy. Just… quietly, deeply proud.

The most beautiful part?

I didn’t sacrifice my health to get here.

In past chapters of my life, success sometimes came at the cost of sleep, of boundaries, of wellness. This time, I chose differently.

  • I started aligning with who I really am.
  • I stopped pouring into people who couldn’t pour back (YES! I’ve learned to say no to stressful clients and staff.)
  • I began listening to what my soul truly needs—more rest, more routine, more self-respect.
  • I made the conscious effort to adjust to Philippine time to improve my sleep and energy.
  • I said no to unhealthy patterns—financially and emotionally.

These weren’t big, loud changes. They were quiet, steady shifts.
And they changed everything.

I didn’t do it alone.

Of course, I’m so grateful for my husband, Hanz—my rock, my cheerleader, and yes, my sugar daddy 😘. He has always shown up with a provider mindset. His heart holds space for my dreams.

When someone walks beside you, the journey becomes more possible. They help carry the weight with you. The journey also becomes more bearable and more beautiful.

Lessons from this journey:

  • Discipline: Goodbye impulse buys and luxury bags (no shade to LV, but alignment first 😉)
  • Sacrifice: Netflix can wait—focus first
  • Smart Choices: There’s power in choosing quality over brand names
  • Consistency: Routines aren’t boring—they’re the quiet magic behind real progress

How we’re celebrating

We kept it simple: a joyful family day trip here in our beautiful hometown of Oslob.
No extravagance. Just presence, love, and gratitude.

Because that’s what this season is teaching me:
Success isn’t about shouting. It’s about alignment, intention, and becoming.

My next goal?

To keep growing—financially, emotionally, spiritually—by the end of 2025.

But in a way that keeps me grounded, joyful, and me.

If you’re reading this and working on your own goals—especially the ones that feel impossible—I hope this reminds you:

You’re not too late.
You’re not too much.
And you’re not behind.
You’re right on time—for your success.

Because sometimes all we need is a gentle reminder that we’re not alone in this journey.

Let’s keep becoming. 💜

P.S. Back in my February post, I promised myself that I would do more of what brings me joy. And I have been—mindfully, intentionally. Blogging is one of those joys. It lights me up, especially when I hear it also inspires others. So expect more stories, reflections, and lessons from me here. 💜
