I’m Writing Again—Even If I’m Not at 100%

I haven’t blogged in a long time.

Not because I didn’t have things to say…
but because I kept waiting to feel ready.

I told myself I would write again when my energy was back to 100%.
…When my emotions were settled.
…When my health felt more stable.
…When life felt lighter.

But the truth is…

Teaching My 7-Year-Old Financial Literacy: Exploring ‘The First Ten Rules of Wealth’ by Richard Templar

As a parent, I’ve always believed that education extends far beyond the walls of a traditional classroom. This belief has been a driving force behind our decision to homeschool our 7-year-old son, giving him the freedom to learn in ways that suit his interests and needs. One area that Mahal and I are particularly passionate about introducing to his curriculum is financial literacy. In today’s ever-changing world, the importance of understanding money, saving, and investing cannot be overstated. I grew up with a poverty mindset… that feeling that we’re always lacking… that belief that I’m not worthy of the good kind of life… and it took years of reading self-help books, and wealth-related books, and listening to Oprah and Tony Robbins before I was able to fairly say I that I’ve somehow overcome my poverty mindset and started my journey towards abundance. I want Tuz to have the right kind of thinking when it comes to money and wealth so that he will be able to live a more abundant, rich, and fulfilling life.

How to get the relationship you want?

How to Get the Relationship You Want (He’s Not That Complicated by Sabrina Alexis and Eric Charles)

How do you get the relationship you want? Okay, before we discuss that, I’m now on the 16th day of my very own self-imposedĀ 30-day blog post challengeĀ which also propelled me to restart doing other things I love and some of them include reading about how to have a better relationship and blogging about what I’ve read.

Whenever my girlfriends and I get to talk about relationships, I can’t help but tell them how different my relationship is now compared to my previous ones (which aren’t that many by the way). It’s not just because I’m older, hence, I’m more mature. Though maturity comes with age, it doesn’t magically nor automatically happen that way. You have to be conscious of all the life lessons you encounter along the way and actively apply them to your life; You have to will yourself to change and mature. And I suspect that because I’ve always actively sought wisdom when it comes to being a better version of myself, my relationship with my partner has become better as well.

I also know that a huge part of it, I owe to this book I bought from a blog I subscribed to that time I was in the middle of my separation.

A Job A Million Girls Would Die For… (The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger)

I’m now on the 10th day of my very own self-imposedĀ 30-day blog post challengeĀ which also propelled me to restart doing other things I love and one of them is reading booksĀ as I’ve mentioned in my previous blog post. But it’s not just reading books I love per se, but blogging about what I’ve read as well. So I’m going to transfer to this blog all those book reviews and blog posts I’ve written before. I told you I’m a bookworm! A sexy bookworm that is… hahaha!

So on those days that I may be in a hurry and don’t have much time to sit down and blog about my life, my travels, my thoughts and stuff that require at least 4 hours to curate my photos and edit my post (like today I need to go to the doctor), I’ll just blog about one of those books I’ve already read.
