How to Get to Oslob from Cagayan de Oro Via Car and Boat Rides

We will be going back to Oslob soon and stay at Oslob New Village where we’ll meet with Mahal’s eldest sister, Ate Amae, who just came home from Belgium for her yearly summer break. We’ll probably stay there for a night before we head off touring Visayas (and maybe Mindanao too) just like what we did July of last year when we did the  Bukidnon – Davao – Camiguin – Cagayan de Oro tour which I mentioned in my 2018 Travel Recap.

We will be bringing our car with us just like what we did January of this year when we went home to Oslob for Mahal’s and his mom’s birthday (we’ve been doing that every year since 2016).

So if you’re from Cagayan de Oro and you want to know how to get to Oslob via road trip and boat / roro rides, this post is for you. Let’s go!

Royal Farm Resort Review – Mixing Business with Pleasure in Dipolog City

The last time we traveled was back in July and August when we did a road trip of Bukidnon, Davao, Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro City. I’ve been wanting to travel again to celebrate our 49th monthsary  last September 15, to celebrate our first year of stay in Mindanao as well as our first year of farm life, and just to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of our farm life (yes, farming, just like any kind of work, can be daunting, more so than office work because there’s always physical effort involved). Then an opportunity presented itself after we hired our new farm helper. His name is Joshua. He mentioned that he has contacts in Dipolog who buy wholesale chili peppers. We can try to set up a meeting with them and see if we can supply them with chili. He has also been homesick after leaving his family behind so we decided to get his wife, his newborn baby, his two toddlers and younger nephew so they can all live with us at the farm, we can have more help and Joshua would be more inspired to work with us. And since we were already there, why not make the most of it?  Continue reading

Motherhood Comes First – A Mom’s Rants About Being a Mother to a Hyper Toddler

This blog post is mostly a one long rant so please bear with me…

I was very much excited to write several blog posts about our long Boracay vacation last March. I still am looking forward to writing down all my stories, travel tips and what-have-you but I just don’t know when I’ll find the time. Life just got busier and busier that I didn’t realize it was already April and we are once again preparing for a one long family travel, this time, a fun road trip with my parents from Luzon all the way to Mindanao.

Anyway, going back to life getting busy and all… Continue reading
